How many sessions will I need for permanent results?
Hair grows in three distinct, rotating cycles: active growth, resting, and shedding.
The laser can only destroy the hair follicle when it is in its active growth phase. Because of this natural cycle, a primary course of 6 to 8 sessions spaced roughly 4 to 6 weeks apart is essential to successfully target and clear every single hair.
How should I prepare for my hair removal appointment?
Preparation is simple but vital for absolute safety and success:
- Shave the area: You must cleanly shave the treatment area 12 to 24 hours before arriving at Kyasha.
- Avoid pulling hair: Do not wax, pluck, thread, or use hair removal creams for at least 4 weeks prior.
- The laser needs the hair root completely intact beneath the skin surface to work.
- Skip the tan: Please avoid active sun exposure, sun beds, or artificial fake tanning creams for at least 2 to 4 weeks before your visit.
